HSP HUYGENS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of the Netherlands grants Hsp Huygens scholarships to undergraduate or graduate students, as well as graduates who have not graduated more than two years ago.

Training in the Netherlands may include research and / or practice. The scholarship does not apply to PhD programs.

The scholarship is for a period of 6 to 24 months and covers tuition, health insurance, visa and travel expenses, as well as a monthly stipend of € 1,000.

The program is administered by HSP NUFFIC – the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education. Students who have already enrolled in one of the Dutch universities at the time of application can apply for the scholarship.

Applicants must not be older than 35 by the beginning of the academic year.

It is necessary to have high academic performance and good command of the language of future study.

MTEC PROGRAM

The MTEC (Matra Training for European Cooperation) program is being implemented by CROSS, the Netherlands government agency for educational cooperation between the Netherlands and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.

Under this program, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands provides scholarships to Ukrainian students with a bachelor’s degree to pursue one of the offered master’s programs in public administration: majoring in International and European Law at the University of Amsterdam and at the Public Administration at the University of Twente.

The scholarship covers all study-related expenses, including the purchase of textbooks, stay in the country, visa costs and round trip.

Young people under the age of 35, working in governmental organizations or having recently graduated from the university with excellent or very good grades may participate in the program.

Applicants must have a good command of English and have TOEFL or IELTS certificates.
