EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
If you are studying at a university or polytechnic institute in Ukraine and would like to visit Finland as part of a short-term educational program, you can benefit from exchange programs if your department or university is involved.
Application deadlines are published on the CIMO website. The results of the selection are made known to the applicant institutions by the end of the spring semester. The exchange begins in the fall.
More information about the program is available on the center’s website. www.cimo.fi.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POSTGRADUATES AND RESEARCHERS
The CIMO Center provides scholarships to young researchers (individuals with master’s or higher degrees) to further improve their education and research at universities in Finland. Candidate selection conditions, application procedures, deadlines and application forms depend on the type of program.
Please note that in Finland, master’s degree programs are not considered postgraduate programs.
CIMO CENTER SCHOLARSHIPS
The CIMO Scholarship Program is designed for young researchers from any country. It is given for a period of 3 to 12 months.
A prerequisite for the application is that the researcher has a well-established relationship with the host university in Finland.
An application for a grant is submitted to the CIMO Center by a department of a Finnish university wishing to receive a scholarship. They do this at least 3 months before the start of the planned stay of the foreign researcher in Finland.
NORTH 2 NORTH PROGRAM
This is a program for students exploring Northern Territories and the Arctic www.uarctic.org/north2north.
