Reviews of Erasmus +
The Head of the Department of Slavic History, Professor Volodymyr Komar has completed a scientific internship at Rzeszów University in the frame of the Erasmus + program. During February 18-22, 2019, Professor Komar read the course of lectures under the title “The Concept of Prometheism in the Politics of Interwar Poland” for third-year students at the Institute of History at the University of Rzeszow. This important page in the history of Polish-Ukrainian relations during the inter-war period remains little known in Poland and therefore aroused great interest among Polish students and lecturers. In addition, in modern Poland, a comprehensive monograph on the politics of prometheism in interwar Poland, as reflected in Professor Komar’s doctoral dissertation, has not yet appeared in print. During the acquaintance with the educational and methodological work at the Institute of History, conversations were held with its director, Doctor of Habilitation, Professor Andrzej Bonusyak. The purpose of the conversation was to establish the cooperation and to create a double master’s degree program with the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations of our university, as well as to organize the student exchanges within the Erasmus + program. The development of bilateral relations between our University and Rzeszow University is based on the cooperation agreement and will continue in the future.
